Tiffany for Model Number WTW8800YC1 Hello, I have a whirlpool cabrio platinum washer. It has been throwing the code F51. I have been able to do really small loads and them going completely thru the cycle with no code flashing, but other loads will not complete. I’m not sure what to do my husband and I replaced the RPS sensor piece and we took the tub out to look for lodged clothing but neither of those seemed to fix the problem. I really don’t want to get rid of the washer but I’m getting to that point. I just don’t understand why it will spin and wring the clothes out on some loads and not the others? Thanks! (If I do a load of like 1-3 things at a time on quick wash with light soil level, low spin and cool water it goes thru everytime...) Tiffany
Answer Tiffany, There is a tech sheet under the top, mounted inside the cabinet in a plastic bag on the top left corner. Go to page 4 test number 3 and follow the instructions and tests with a multimeter to determine the cause of that failure code. Read More...
