Danny for Model Number WM0642HW The plastic teeth are stripped out on my rotor assembly. Does this indicate possibly another problem with bearings, etc., to cause the teeth to strip. I can spend the tub, it spends freely and I do not see loose motion or excess grease on the outer bearing that is visible. I have heard a noise the last couple of weeks during the spin cycles. Any ideas? Could the noise be caused by the rotor assembly?
Answer Hello Danny. It sounds like the bearings 4280EN4001C and 4280EN4001F are bad and are causing the issues. You will need to replace the bearing and the rotor. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Saturday, April 14, 2012
