Tom for Model Number wm0532hw hi our from loader washer started making a very loud and annoying whining and grinding noise while spinning then after a couple uses it seems to be locked up what would you suggest checking im thinking stator or some bearing in the drive unit . thanks for your help we just replaced the control board so we got some $$ in it and would like to fix it
Answer Tom, A grinding noise during the spin cycle normally indicates that the bearings on the unit are bad and need to be replaced. Bearings part numbers are 4280EN4001C and 4280EN4001F.
