Dave for Model Number lds5811st I can't find the check valve part #ap4442609. Is it under the cover assemble inside the washer? I had to replace the inlet valve assembly and had washer upside down-perhaps lost it. Washer will start and run normal but will add more water in the middle of cycle without draining first. If I start a new cycle with water in the washer I get a oe code and the drain hose is fine. I checked out the other motors under washer and they are clear of debree and spin fine-took them apart..everything sound fine when it starts up but will overfill in middle of cycle. Thanks Dave
Answer Hello Dave. The check valve 5220ED4004A is located inside the sump assembly. You will need to remove the case assembly to access the check valve. If the hoses are clear, and the pump is not working, you may have a bad pump on the unit. Test for power to the pump. If there is power and it is not working, you will need to replace the pump assembly EAU61383518. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
