Answer Francine, with the microwave unplugged for 10 minutes, the transformer high voltage fuse (top fuse of the noise filter DE96-00400D) would need to be tested for continuity (should have continuity). From there, the transformer DE26-00126A (part has been discontinued by the manufacturer) would need to be tested for resistance. The primary windings should test as having less than 1O. From there, the top terminal will need to be tested for resistance to ground and should show between 120 to 150O. If these test good, the magnetron OM75P-21-ESGN would then need to be inspected for any signs of overheating or damaged antenna. The diode DE91-70063D would need to be tested for continuity and should measure continuity from terminal to terminal in one direction but open when the terminals are tested in the opposite direction. The capacitor 2501-001011 would need to be tested for resistance and should start at infinite and slowly start registering a readable resistance value (meter set to a low resistance reading) If these all test good, it is likely that the main control DE92-02329F is not operating properly.
