Ron for Model Number RF267AEWP/XAA-00 The icemaker on my Samsung RF267AEWP has stopped working. It does not fill with water and there are no frozen cubes in it. That lead me to think it could be the water inlet valve, except the water dispenser still works (which also should rule out a frozen supply line). However, when I press the reset on the icemaker, it makes no noise and does not cycle - so the icemaker could be bad. Which seems more likely (or am I missing something)? Thanks.
Answer Ron, the ice maker voltage will need to be tested at the main control. At the main control connection CN90, the red probe of a meter would need to be placed at the gray wire in pin 5, and the black probe of a meter placed at the blue wire on pin 8. There should be 5VDC when tested. If not, then the main control has failed. If there is, then the ice maker reset switch will need to be pressed, and the main control tested at the connection CN73 pin 11 (brown wire) with the red probe. The black probe of the meter will be placed at connection CN71 pin 5 (gray wire). There should be an AC voltage reading at pin 11 for approximately 1 minute before it switches voltage to pin 13. If there is a voltage reading, the ice maker DA97-07365G has failed. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, November 18, 2019
