Mark for Model Number SAMSUNG RF268ABWP I know the cooling fan is hitting ice that is built up behind the panel. I'd like to know what needs to be checked (please include what readings I should get) and then replaced. This problem has been on going for a couple years now and I just want to take care of it. Answer Hello Mark. If the evaporator is freezing over, you will need an HVAC tech to replace the evaporator assembly in the unit to repair it.
