Johnson for Model Number RS2545SH Our Samsung refrigerator started flashing at 34 degrees and would not cool. I disassembled the panel inside the refrigerator and found severe ice build up covering the evaporating core. I also noticed that the cooling fan was working fine. So I used a hair dryer to remove the ice build up and the fridge worked fine for 2 days. But now the refrigerator temperature is flashing and the refrigerator does not cool. The freezer part is working fine. So what part would you recommend to replace to solve this problem.
Answer Johnson, The most common issue with the coils building up ice on them would be that the defrost sensor on the evaporator coils has failed and would need to be replaced.
