David B for Model Number RFG298AARS/XAA I replaced the ice maker DA97-07365G and the water valve DA97-07695A in my refrigerator The bottom ice maker works . water goes into ice maker but it doesn't freeze the ice cubes does not seem cold enough to make cubes .is there another part that I missed and what is the part number and where is it located When the problem first started it was freezing solid David
Answer David, There should be a ice fan running in the ice compartment and if it is not then test to see if there is voltage getting to the fan. There should be 12 vdc and if there is not then the issue will be a faulty control board and if there is then the issue will be a faulty motor. Read More...
