Becca for Model Number DV42H5200EW/A3-0000 My dryer is running, but not heating properly. I am planning to check the heating element, the thermistor, and the thermal fuse. I am confused because it seems that the heating element assembly contains a thermostat and a thermistor, in addition to the the thermal fuse and thermistor located behind the blower assembly. Do I need to check all of these? The thermal fuse and thermistor videos only address the parts located behind the blower assembly.
Answer Becca, Yes you would test these other thermostats for continuity. If any of them do not have continuity then you will need to replace the parts required. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, March 10, 2016
