Mike for Model Number FE710DRS/XAA-0001 When turning on the right front element heard a loud pop which resulted in the breaker popping. After unplugging the stove and resetting the breaker the light indictator is permanently on for that element. The range and all elements are working with the exception of the 3rd (outer) ring on the right front element. What parts am I looking at for a repair? Thanks.
Answer Mike, the element, wiring DG96-00224A, and the burner switch DG44-01003A will need to be inspected for damage and tested for any continuity to ground. The element will also need to be tested to identify if the outer coils have separated. Unfortunately, if the element DG47-00065A has failed, it has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. Read More...
