Charlie for Model Number 110.24812200 I have a Kenmore washer 80 series HD. Model:110.24812200. on spin cycle it makes a very load noise,tub rocking back & forth and continues spinning after timer stops.Every thing else works fine.Is this the brake,if so how do you replace them.THANK YOU
Answer Charlie, Sounds more like the drive block is worn WP389140 or tub nut is loose WP21366, Hopefully the drive tube tabs aren't damaged W10820043 Once you remove the agitator, and attempt to loosen and remove the spanner nut,You can tell if the block is stripped/worn out.
