By: Whirlpool
Part Number: OEM18019101
Manufacturer Part Number: WP22003441

The OEM Replacement is a bearing designed to function as the rear bearing in Whirlpool front-load washers. It also works as the upper brake bearing in top-load washers. Positioned near the tub's brake assembly, this component plays a significant role in the operation of the washer. In top-load washers, it resides above the brake assembly.

Causes of a bad bearing can include prolonged wear and tear, exposure to excessive loads, or water intrusion that leads to rust and corrosion. A compromised bearing can lead to more significant issues if not addressed promptly.

Symptoms of a bad bearing include:

  • Loud, unusual noises during the wash or spin cycles
  • Excessive vibration or movement of the washer
  • The drum not rotating smoothly or becoming stuck
  • Leaks around the drum area

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.
