Mr. G.S. for Model Number Maytag Model: mfw9600sq0 There is a constant smell of mildew coming from the washer. I have used those Tide washer Cleaners and still the smell. I later noticed that the Main Seal in Front had mildew. I cleaned it with bleach and still the smell. Do I need to repalce the seal or some other way to get the smell out? Help.
Answer Hi. Concentrate on the pump inlet sump hose part # WPW10467168. It will collect in the folds build up. You can remove the pump front cover and clean there as well. Replace the cover gasket part # WP8181736. Remove the drain hose and flush it out front and back.
