Kevin P. for Model Number kaws777eq Agitator is not turning well. The basket spins fine. I took out the agitator and the shaft turns but I can hold it so it doesn't move at the same time the basket is spinning. There is also a clicking, grinding noise. Is this most likely transmission, clutch or drive tube problem?
Answer Hello Kevin, If the motor coupler 285753A looks good, the issue can be with the clutch or internal to the gearcase. The only way to diagnose the clutch properly is to pull the gearcase down and check it.
