Geoff for Model Number WTW5800SWS My w/m will drain the water out but the tub doesn't spin. I did get it to spin one time during one of my many tests and there was a clunking noise when the spin cycle stopped. The agitator works fine and washes the clothes but I won't spin dry them. Answer Geoff, The " clunking noise when the spin cycle stopped" would indicate that the drive block WP389140 continues to rotate when the drive tube W10820043 has stopped by the brake. You'll need to remove everything from the tub and check the drive tube tabs, to see if they have "rounded" off or worn out and replace the drive block as well. Read More...
