Randy for Model Number mdb7749awq2 Was wondering if there was a way to reset the control panel on this model. Most buttons work, but it will not start. I assume the door switch and fuse are good if I am getting lights. Could I be wrong about that? I took the cover off, and the cp# is w10298356. thanks for any help. I forgot to mention I turned power off to the washer for ten minutes. Didn't help. thanks
Answer Randy, You would be correct about the thermal fuse being good. If the thermal fuse were bad you would not have any lights. The door switch could be bad. You will want to test the switches on the latch assembly. If they are bad then the latch would need to be replaced. If the door switch checks ok then the control board would be the most likely cause.
