Ted for Model Number MHW2000AWW Hello, I have a Washer: Lower Unit Model No. MHW2000AWW with Serial No. 10201681UM which I believe was manufactured in June of 1998. I got it used and was able to get it to spin after the rinse once and now it will not. I did give off a very slight burnt wire type of smell before it stopped working. The door lock light still works properly. Can you tell me which control board I need to replace and where it is located on the unit? Thank you for your help. Ted
Answer Hello Ted. Check and see if the R-11 resistor is burnt out on the control board in the top of the dryer cabinet. If so, you will need to replace the wax motor and the control board WP22004325. If it is good, check and see if the out of balance switches are good in the machine and the wires going to them. If so, you will need to replace the motor kit 12002039. Hope this helps. Read More...
