Brent for Model Number GI5FVAXVL01 The front display has started intermittently going blank with no response from any of the touch buttons. Sometimes, a few times a day, other times days apart. Unplugging the 4 pin power connector on the back of the display board will return everything to proper working order until the next failure. Is the problem the main control board, or the display board? Thanks in advance!!
Answer Brent, There are a couple of things to check before you replace the parts. Make sure the outlet is a grounded, polarized 120 vac 20 amp outlet and is a dedicated non-GFI power supply. Remove the top left door hinge cover and check for any loose wire connections or damaged wires. Remove the dispenser front control panel/facade and check the wiring at the low voltage control board. Remove the cover on the back of the refrigerator and check for loose connections at the high voltage control board. If all's OK, replace the WPW10310240 / WPW10310240 High Voltage Control Board on the back of the refrigerator. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 2, 2019
