David J for Model Number kgst307hbs9 my kitchedaid superba will not allow me in to enter any temperature above 260 degrees. Oven broiler and even the oven operates with a temp below 260.When I enter 300 or 400 (>260) I get a "err" on the display.Is this a PCM or display module problem or what ? Any suggestions?
Answer David, First thing, check or replace the oven temperature sensor WP9782081. It can be tested for resistance readings (1050 to 1100 ohms at room temp. 1750 ohms at 400 dgrs.) the resistance on the circuit is there, but it's most likely out of range.
