Megan for Model Number WFE371LVS0 Thanks, I could not find the access from the back, so it must be on the side panel. But, how to get to it from the side ? Do I need to remove all the panels from the side and back in order to see it ? Do you know of any video showing this ? Thanks, Megan
Answer Megan, We were unable to find a video or service manual with the access procedure for your hidden bake element. Yes, you will need to remove power to the range and slide it out, you would need to remove the left side panel. Remove the three screws from the left side panel you are removing. Pull the back of the side panel out from the range approximately 45°. Open the drawer several inches. Open the warming drawer several inches. Push forward and unhook the three front tabs from the chassis slots and remove the side panel. There is also an insulation retainer that must be removed to access the two screws that mount the element. When replacing the element, two L-brackets mounted onto the front of the element must slide into tabs located in the element compartment. Reverse the procedure and check the oven for heat in the bake cycle. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, July 11, 2019
