Jim for Model Number Kitchenaid KUDS25SH WH1 Water leaking out bottom of door. Replaced gasket (W10112096) and lower door seal (4172127). Still leaks. Lower spray arm assembly turns freely - top and bottom bearing rings look good - all holes in arms are open and clean - no splits in the arms. Upper washer arms also turn freely and are in good shape.Water fill float moves freely. How deep should the water in the tub be? (does not cover heater element) Any suggestions on locating the cause of the leaking door?
Answer Jim, Did you also check the door hinges and mounting pins on the frame, to make sure, they weren't damaged or tweaked out of shape. Make sure the dishwasher is level in both directions, and the water level in the tub should be in contact with the heater element after a 5 minute wash and run cycle. Here's an easy diagnostic tool, Take a pair of pliers and insert the handle end through the tines on the lower rack and block the lower wash arm, so it cant turn/ rotate, and run the dishwasher, If leak subsides, the problem is definitely in the lower spray arm or bearing/seals, if leak persists, you'll need to check the water supply tube and pump assembly.
