Mike for Model Number MVWC400XW3 Maytag Centennial wont spin as well as new. Clothes are wet. The washer drains ok, but does not do the fastest spin to get them less wet (main reason we bought it to save dryer time) I have tried the drain and spin, and sometimes it works, but not always. It seems to happen in all the cycles. I was thinking dead spot on the timer, but...? I have seen multiple videos showing the same problem, but no one talking about what fixed it. Timer? Sensor? drive transmission? Thanks for your help
Answer Hello Mike. Check the drive block WP389140 on the unit and make sure it is good. If so, you will need to order and replace the clutch kit WP8299642 on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, April 8, 2013
