Ira for Model Number KitchenAid KUIC15NLXS 0 Cutter Grid not cutting ice - have 8.5 volts AC at plug. What should this voltage be? Cutter Grid appears to be in working order.
Answer Ira, it would be recommended that the cutter grid WP2313637 is tested for resistance and it should measure 20 Ohms. If it does not measure the proper resistance, it will not cut the ice properly. If it tests good, then the failure would be in the transformer WP2310139 if there is not a corroded wire. Read More...
