Joe for Model Number Armana ASD2622HRW Symptom- Fridge not cold (1st problem) Coils freezing Would be solution- Had the freezer fan replaced which fixed the fridge not getting cold for 3 months. Then coils started freezing. Replaced the timer and thermostat - seemed to fix the problem for another 3 months or so. Replaced the thermostat again- but did not fix the problem. When I replaced the thermostat the first time the 2 wires came out of the white modular connector which connects to the thermostat (At least 1 wire does) Those 2 wires are soldered to a metal plate that slides in to the white modular connector. I was able to push that back in to the modular connector but am afraid that's where the problem is. Could replacing the heating element be the answer in this situation? Thanks, Joe
Answer Joe, If the connectors for the heater is where the wires came out at then yes a new heater would be what is needed. The terminals coming out of the other side of the connector on the thermostat side should not cause an issue if they are reseated and not coming back out. Read More...
