This water inlet valve kit restores proper water flow to your refrigerator's ice maker and/or dispenser. Replace a sticking, leaking, or failed valve to resolve no-ice, no-dispense, or slow-fill issues and help prevent water leaks.

  • Controls water from the household supply to the ice maker and/or water dispenser on demand

Answer

Hello Aaron, The WP12544002 is the primary water valve. The water line to the unit attaches to this valve. The output from this valve connects to the secondary water valve 12002193 inlet at the connection that points 45° to the side. From here, the 1/4 inch line goes to the ice maker. The 5/16 inch line goes to the water filter housing and from there to the water tank then across the bottom of the unit into the door hinge to the water dispenser.
