Aaron for Model Number ARS266ZBB I had to order both the primary and secondary valves on a fridge I own. The previous owner had left it in a garage over the winter and left water in it, destroying the valves. I am not sure in which location each of the water lines attach as both valves were both blown to bits. I was hoping that you may be able to provide me with an answer on the hook-up location of the water lines. Thanks!
Answer Hello Aaron, The WP12544002 is the primary water valve. The water line to the unit attaches to this valve. The output from this valve connects to the secondary water valve 12002193 inlet at the connection that points 45° to the side. From here, the 1/4 inch line goes to the ice maker. The 5/16 inch line goes to the water filter housing and from there to the water tank then across the bottom of the unit into the door hinge to the water dispenser. Read More...
