Albert B for Model Number KUDPO1ILBL6 My KitchenAid dishwasher latch broke and I ordered replacement part AP303924. I followed the video tutorial and replaced the broker part with the new part. All went exactly as the video showed. After reconnecting the power and water, I started the dishwasher to run it through a cycle. All went well and it started right up and began to fill with water. I checked back about 20 min later and It appears to have gotten half way through the cycle and stopped. I can't' get it to restart. None of the operation lights go on when I push them. I disconnected that power and removed the front panel to check for loose wires or burnt wires etc. All appears to be fine. I also checked the power outlet and it is also working. The dishwasher was working prior to fixing the handle, I just need to manipulate the handle into place to get it to lock, so all was working before I replaced the handle. Did I do something wrong? Appreciate and help in trouble shooting.
Answer Albert, There is a thermal fuse in the area of the control board that you will want to test to make sure that it has continuity. If there is no continuity then the fuse is the problem and will need to be replaced. The fuse part number is 8193762. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, February 26, 2016
