Kevin for Model Number MVWC6ESWW1 No water is going into the drum, I replaced the water inlet valve, confirmed that the flow meter is functioning by blowing through it and the hoses connected to it. What else am I to do? The repairman wants just about HALF of what it would take to buy another one (Brand New)!
Answer Hello Kevin, I would start off by checking for stopped up screens in the inlet hoses and the water valve WPW10175893. If they are clear, and the water valve is passing water, the flow switch WPW10176591 should be checked by blowing gently through it while your test meter is connected to the terminals. There should be a change in the resistance when blowing through it. If so, the issue will most be either the lid switch WP8318084 or the ATC switch WPW10248240. Read More...
