Jammann for Model Number whirlpool cabrio wgd6200sw0 I have a whirlpool cabrio wgd6200sw0 gas dryer. I started smelling gas (natural) I soaped down the valve and flex connector . not it. I opened up the dryer and soaped down the burner assy. and found gas is able to leak out through the orfice. Tiny amount, but soap bubbles all the same. Is the burner assy. at fault or do the coils the problem. Please help my daughters thank you in advance
Answer Jammann, The issue would be internal to the gas valve WP8573072 a diaphragm or an internal plunger has failed and is allowing the gas to escape through the burner orifice. The supply of the gas valve is limited, so you will need to contact the APP Customer Sevice Team (1-877-477-7278) to verify availability and cost. Read More...
