Gordon W. for Model Number Kenmore #11062622101 80 series I have a Kenmore Electric Dryer 80 series Model #11062622101, it was working fine and dried a load , went to do a load later in the day and does not do any thing when you push start button, black micro swith on door seems to click when you push it and door latch still line up. Push to start button seems to be spongy but you can still hear a clicking maybe going to a relay. I ordered new push to start button from here and was sent the wrong one. Is there something else I should be looking for?
Answer Hello Gordon. You will need to test and see if the thermal fuse WP3392519 is bad on the unit. It should read closed for continuity. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
