Ron for Model Number 110.96529120 I have a Kenmore dryer (model) 110.96529120, serial no. 1813951, my dryer will not start, I push in the start button, no result, I check my circuit breaker it is fine, can you please help me I don't know what wrong. Thanks Mr. Bryant
Answer HI Ron. Does your door switch have continuity? If not, Replace it with part # W10820036. If so then I would replace the thermal fuse(located on the blower hsg.). This part # is WP3392519.Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer. Check and make sure the unit is not set to Air Fluff. Also check the heater and thermal fuses and see if they are good. You can test these with a multi-meter MA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
