Stanley for Model Number LAT8234AAL Washer ran thru cycle and would not empty or spin. Belt 21124 found on floor under washer. Some water found on floor as well.
Answer Hello Stanley, Make sure there is nothing under the unit that could get into the belts, If a sock or similar item gets under the unit, it can get in the belt and flip it off. Also, make sure there is no oil under the unit. The lower lip seal in the transmission could be leaking, which puts oil on the belts and pulley. If this is the case, the pulleys should be completely cleaned with rubbing alcohol to remove all of the oil. The lip seal 207843 should be replaced and the belts replaced 12112425. The front panel should be removed to locate the source of the leak. If the pump WP6-2022030 seal is leaking, the water will show up under the unit but not inside. Read More...
