Julie for Model Number maytag a482 The washer someone gave us is older and did not have a belt. When looking at the bottom of the machine we see 3 spots to put the belt. But 41 1/2 only fits if we put it on two of the pulleys. We have on the big one which i am assuming is the motor and we put the other on one of the smaller pulleys. It works but I just wanted to see what the 3rd pulley is for before we start to use it. It doesnt look as if we could add another belt.
