Victor for Model Number A9700 washer adgitater doesn't work. I'm getting a smell while in wash cycle. Belts are good. I'm getting a squeaking sound. Rinse and spin cycle works.
Answer Victor, Recheck the belts, especially the 211125, if it is highly glazed(shiny) it could be slipping on the motor pulley and making the odor and noise. Also check the motor carriage rollers and springs, make sure the motor is free moving and well lubricated. The wash cycle and the rinse cycle are basically the same thing. If the washer is noisy and the agitator works differently, it could be due to a "cold" belt or the transmission lube could be thick and stiff and loosens up after it warms up from operation.
