Steve for Model Number KDFE104DWH3 KitchenAid dishwasher makes clicking noises every couple of seconds after starting and no water enters the tub. I cleaned both inlet and outlet. Appears drain pump works fine. Is pump and motor replacement next? Or control panel?
Answer Steve, it would be recommended that the main control W10875442 is tested for voltage output, while starting a cycle, at the connection P6 pin 4 to P6 pin 9. If there is not voltage, the main control has failed. If there is, the next step would be to test from pin 6 to pin 9 on the same connector. If there is voltage, the overfill switch is good and the probe at pin 6 would need to be moved to pin 7. If there is voltage here, the valve W11175771 has failed.
