John for Model Number 106.74932401 My refrigerator runs cold one day and then stops.Only when I adjust the thermostat inside the door, does it start again and starts to work. If I don't check it everyday I notice that it doesn't freeze or stay cool. What could be wrong?
Answer John, It sounds more like a faulty contact inside the cold control WP2200859. When the selected temperature is reached,(cut out temp.) the control is opening up the circuit and removes power to the compressor. But when the temperature increases and the thermostat closes(cut in temp) to turn the compressor back on, your control isn't resetting. Read More...
