R. Kokoszka for Model Number Maytag Bravos mvwb750wqo During spin cycle tub spins then hits the side.I have replaced the tub shaft and bearing kit and replaced the rotor on the stator motor. The new shaft spins great UNTIL I PUT THE NEW rotor over the stator. The rotor turns about 3/4 of one revolution then it feels like the rotor is hitting something which causes a "drag" when I'm spinning the rotor. this is exactly what the washer was doing before I replaced the tub shaft and bearing kit and put a new rotor on it.Do you think it is the stator?
Answer R.Kokoszka, You will want to check the stator for damage and also check the RPS sensor to make sure that it is in place properly. Also check the suspension rods to make sure that they are not damaged or loose. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, January 20, 2015
