B for Model Number WTW6600SW2 It was leaking and loud, so I replaced the tub assembly. After putting it back together and testing, I got the F51 fault code. It spun freely manually, but when running the washer in the spin cycle, it starts for a split second and stops (this is when the error pops up). I replaced the RPS but it was doing the same thing. I replaced the RPS again and still getting the F51 fault code. The likelihood that both new RPS's were bad is slim, so I'm confident it's not the RPS. I never got this fault code before replacing the tub assembly, I'm pretty confident that I replaced the tub assembly correctly because it spins freely, manually and makes no noise. I'm at a complete loss. Please help.
Answer B, You will want to check the wiring between the RPS sensor and the main control board. If the wiring got damaged then this will cause the issue that you are having. Also check the rotor and stator to make sure that there is no damage to them. If these check ok then the only other issue would be a faulty control board. Read More...
