Answer First check the spin basket, make sure there's nothing stuck in one of the drain openings in the tub and rubbing on the outer tub. Then raise check the washer front and check the motor rotor and the center bolt for being loose and out of alignment. If all's ok, then remove the spin basket and check the basket hub and drive gear, to see if they're damaged or clogged with sediment or debris, this would usually present an error code, but not always.
