Manufacturer Part Number: WPW10419333

This motor stator is the stationary windings for a direct-drive washer motor. Working with the rotor, it creates the magnetic field that turns the basket. Replacing a failed stator restores consistent wash and spin performance. What it does

  • Provides the fixed windings for the direct-drive motor
  • Works with the rotor to spin and tumble the basket
  • Failure can cause no spin/tumble, intermittent movement, or loud humming
  • May lead to motor/speed-related error codes and cycle shutdowns
What's included
  • 1 motor stator assembly
Install notes
  • Disconnect power before servicing; allow moving parts to stop
  • Access is typically from the rear; remove the rotor to expose the stator
  • Handle the rotor's strong magnets carefully and keep metal objects clear
  • Route and seat the wiring exactly as original; tighten mounting bolts evenly

Gary for Model Number WTW6200SW1

when im washing the machine works normally untill the machine reaches its spin cycle, towards the end of the spin cycle, the machine stops and gives code F54. Im thinking i have a bad stator cause it fails after the spin cycle is almost done., is it common for the stator to go bad? or is it more common for the rotor to go bad?. I dont think i have a wiring issue do to the fact that the machine works normally until it gets hot from the spin cycle. the basket turns freely.

Answer

Gary, Does the washer make any strange noises before the code appears, you may have a tub bearing issue? also check and insure there are no small articles stuck between the tubs, and that you maintain at least 108 VAC at the outlet when the motor starts and runs. If all's OK, you'll need to lay the washer on it's back and check the rotor 280146and shield W10183157 for cracks, breaks, warpage and loose wiring connections. Good Luck and Thanks
