Ray for Model Number GU2455XTSB0 Regarding Door Seal AP4685084, I need to verify correct for my Model Dishwasher GU2455XTSB0. I've read that several customers have had issues with installation and or fit of Door Seal. My impression is that this can be attributed to the seals tight fit and amount of force needed to properly seat the seal in the grove. Is this a correct assumption? Thank You for your time! Ray
Answer Hi Ray. The door seal part # W10542314 is applied with the widest (sides ribbed) in first. This will insure holding. You will need to center the gasket and make sure both lt. and rt. ends match any length or gap to the bottom of the tub for a reference point. It is normal that it takes a dozen times of operating to get it "worn-in" again. You will get used to using both hands to open and close initially. Thank You. Read More...
