Lionel for Model Number Maytag DE882 Dryer will not stop on automatic mode. Does on Time mode. Replaced Timer but still not stopping on Automatic. Do I have a sensor Problem?
Answer Lionel, This issue would be caused by 1 of 2 issues. The first thing that you will want to check is your venting from the blower wheel all the way to the outside of the unit to make sure that it is not clogged. If the venting is clear then the issue would be a faulty cycling thermostat which is located on the blower housing. The part number is WPY304475. Read More...
