Jim for Model Number 110609329990 WHEN THE DRYER START BUTTON IS PUSHED IN, THE DRYER STARTS, BUT WHEN THE BUTTON IS RELEASED THE DRYER STOPS. IF THE BUTTON IS HELD IN, THE DRYER WILL WORK BUT THERE IS NO HEAT. ANY THOUGHTS ON THE CAUSE AND FIX? THANKS, JIM
Answer Jim, The push-to-start switch only closes momentarily to provide voltage to the motor for the start winding then the motor switches to the run windings and doesn't need the switch any longer to stay rotating.
