Mike for Model Number 11070972990 Dryer stopped before completing an automatic dry cycle. When I push the start button and hold, the dryer turns, but it does not ignite the gas burner. When I release the start button the dryer stops immediately.
Answer Hello Mike. If the motor stops when the start button is released, then it sounds like the switch inside the motor is bad, and the motor 279787 will need to be replaced.
