Brian for Model Number WRF560SEYB04 Hello. My fridge isn't going through a defrost cycle. Or it possibly is but it's not staying in the defrost cycle long enough to completely defrost the evaporator. The bottom of the evaporator appears partially defrosted. The thermistor on the evaporator is within range. The thermal fuse and defrost heater both have continuity. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Answer Brian, the defrost heater WPW10436849 would need to be tested for resistance and it should measure between 30 to 42 Ohms of resistance. If the heater tests good, the next step would be identifying if there is an air leak from a gap in the door gasket.
