Mike, Based on the information it sounds like the unit is cycling on the high limit thermostat instead of the cycling thermostat. To determine which thermostat you would need you will have to look at the first 2 digits of the serial number. If the serial number is 10 -14 then you would need part number WP31001192 and if it is 15 or higher you will need part number WP31001088. The cycling thermostat can be found on the blower housing. Another thing to look at is for a shorted heating element. If the heating element is shorted then it will never shut off.
