Manny M. for Model Number PYE2300AYW My dryer runs but it won't produce any heat. I checked the heating element and it is still intact. Does this mean I need to replace the thermostat part no. 53-0771. Need help. Thank you.
Answer Manny, First make sure you have 220 - 240 Volts AC at the terminal block on the back of the dryer. If that's OK, there are several thermostats to check. First the hi limit thermostat and thermal fuse LA-1053 on the heater housing, then the cycling thermostat WP31001192 located on the blower housing.
