Answer Hello Wm, the ice maker's internal thermostat is stuck closed, the ice maker replacement is WPW10300022. The control module does not come with the thermostat, that part is WP2321258. Replacing just the thermostat also requires this special adhesive WP4317852 to be used for proper thermal conductivity to the side of the mold. Due the design of the ice maker's water fill circuit should this thermostat stick closed and the ice maker run continuously the water valve will not be powered as that would cause a flood condition.
