Shawn for Model Number wtw6600sw2 Had very loud noises during the spin cycle, the "jet engine". Bought the bearing kit but the new drive shaft will not go in the tub. No matter how hard you hammer. Also the outer tub had water and a oily residue in it. Is a new outer tub the best way to go? And does that include the bearing assembly and all?
Answer Shawn, You would want to make sure that you have the tool for installing the bearing kit which is part number W10447783 but if you want to go with the outer tub then yes it will have the bearings and shaft all in the tub.
