Steve for Model Number Whirlpool Refrig WRS537SIAM00 The water dispenser got stuck in the open position. I was able to cycle it to the closed position by unplugging the refrig. When I turned it back on, everything appears fine. Please provide your thoughts on if it is a solenoid valve issue and if it should be changed before it sticks open again. Also please provide replacement part info. When reviewing the parts diagram, it appears that there are 2 possible valves. One is located near the lower back corner of the refrig and the other valve location is unknown. Thanks!
Answer Steve, Most likely the water valve will not be the issue. If it was then it would be both valves as both have to be energized in order for water to flow.
